I've just bought my first lot after watching this company for a number of months.

I've seen a large number of these companies come and go for a few varying reasons either an illness wipes out the stock, poor financial planning, poor management or just a business model that can't produce for cheaper than the sale price.

What I like about aaq is that they have a solid business model that is expandable, they have established a great value add brand and have good management in place.

As such I will continue to buy up small blocks of shares as I can afford them.

For anyone that want's to see how this market for environmentally friendly quality fisj may grow just have a read of http://www.economist.com/books/displaystory.cfm?story_id=3242433 to see what's happening out there on the high seas.

I think over the coming years we will continue to see growth in environmentally friendly customers who will pay a premium for good food that has been grown in a way that has not harmed the planet and AAQ will be on the cutting edge of it.

    A couple of thoughts then:

Has AAQ ever said anything about how big they see the frozen market and the margins on this?
Do people see the AAQ model as franchisable or able to be developed into a "you grow on our behalf and we sell under our brand" and we will help you with fingerlings, plant fitout and scientific help?

    Any opinions most welcome
