I think you will find the the price of the stock when the deal was announced has no bearing on the consolidation ratio and what the company is worth.
When ODN changes to gridComm and consolidation has been completed. The last closing price on the ASX will read 35 cents.
So if you bought ODN shares at 1 cent per share before it was suspended it will be as if you paid 35 cents when it finally relists. So those folk will have paid a 75 percent premium to the folk who get to participate in the capital raising.
For folk who bought at say 1.3 cents and were happy holding while the price was only 3 pips away from there buy price..
Well it will be like they paid 45.5 cents !!
Luckily the new ASX rules will stop some of this cowboy stuff from happening.
