Waz, contact the company for further clarification if you wish.

Company ann. way back on 11.08.15 says "Moore Commerce Pty Ltd is also the exclusive provider of design, manufacture, deployment and project management services for Protean WEC wave farm deployments." As to what/when money was paid and for what - check with them but that statement at least should mean only that entity IMO - to answer your question about which Moore company.

With the other part of your post, yes, only one buoy deployed so far and then removed for testing/analysis of data. No sign to date of a progressive scaling up to a full test array. A bit frustrating.

As a general comment and only my opinion, and considering the history of other WECs, both the development and commercialisation processes are arduous and take time, and (most importantly) that includes the time needed for independent scientific validation of what the company has and it's results - e.g. what is the true LCOE (critical), costs to mass produce/repair/maintain, energy output/reliability, survivability longer term, environmental considerations etc. etc. - a long list.

We are told external assessors like EcoFin and WavEC have been engaged in relation to the engineering study - so my interpretation is that this is necessary to help support international recognition of their product and the underlying design methodology and business model. (and very important for US interest also)

Now should that have happened earlier and is progress slower than preferred ? others can comment on that. The company appears (to me) to be recognising all of these challenges and addressing them thus I am upbeat and we await more news. Sentiment remains hold
    Cheers BC
