- Board of General Mining continues to recommend that shareholders accept the galaxy offer
- Notes the announcement by galaxy resources limited on 22 July 2016 extending its offmarket takeover
- Under the offer, General Mining shareholders will receive 1.65 new galaxy shares for every 1 General Mining share held
- Galaxy has received acceptances for 72.4% of the fully paid ordinary shares in General Mining
