G'day Miguel. Just a quick flick through that article, but it makes two assumptions.
1. That lithium will be with the energy revolution until the middle of the century. I think it will be likely gone by then.
2. And on top of that - lithium used is consumed. Increasingly more and more of it will be recyclable.
There will be no peak lithium due to resource constraints.
