Thanx for your advice, but I have a laptop running Win 10 and another with Win 7
The main reason that I don't want to use 10 on the other laptop, is because you're compelled to update all programs. In the Microsoft office 2010 suite, the only programs that I want to download is Word, Excel, Outlook and programs that improve security of these software programs etc.
I want to limit my data usage as I'm on a pre-paid option- don't have the need to go on a plan.
Sometimes I'm suspicious that programs are being designed to slow down older operating systems.
Wasn't Apple accused of doing that!
My Win 10 laptop has issues too, but maybe related to incapabilities with the model.
