I think the un certainty re approval of stage 3 Ackland is a major SP depresser
And this decision if it ever comes, could go either way.
The anti coal crowd will oppose this mine regardless of whether its located in prime ag country or the desert.
And then you have Allan Jones , the farmers friend , talking it down
The QLD govt do not support it ( even if they say they will )
QLD is in a terrible financial mess----we are very good at mining, and if you take that away, you destroy the economy and ability to pay social welfare
