@orion123 I don't particularly want to get embroiled in the tax loss discussion with you and @Autosime, but I'm not sure you or your accounting firm are correct, unless I have misunderstood the nature of the losses being claimed.

There is such a thing "loss trafficking" (who knew) and The Treasury of the Government of Australia has produced a report outlining rules that apply, particularly the COT (Continuity of Ownership Test). You may need to reconsider.
