They are drilling a couple of oil wells in the middle of an oil field. Surely it can't be too hard to understand that there will be oil there? Will it be commercial?? I'm quietly confident. For those who aren't ... sell out and sleep well. What many don't appear to take into account is that under the formation they're drilling into are (I believe) 2 more oil bearing formations. The separate (again..I think) structure beside this one has been producing for ~100 years and is still going strong. Once infrastructure is paid it's all bottom line. What more do speculative investors want?? Many years ago I realised that while opportunity was knocking at peoples front doors they were out in the back yard looking for 4 leaf clovers. For the last 70 years the price of oil has risn and fallen and will continue to do so......unless Gawahr decides its' time to show a little fatigue...... then the price will only be up. Airplanes, trucks, heavy equipment, city infrastructure, ships, rail etc. all need concentrated energy. This for the forseeable future is going to be mainly fossil fuels. Oil is being used at ~95,000,000 bbls per day....... think for a minute on that number... that doesn't include coal and nuclear which is extra. Of all the energy sources available today ... If I had my Druthers, I'd druther have an oil field.
