Labor in Britain has always been difficult for HSBC (they wanted to move to HK to avoid English tax), RBS (it was being taxed even when owned by the English Government), Barclays and Abbey National went broke before Banco Santander bought it out (and it was still paying taxes).
All British Labor ever wants to do to banks is tax them.
