i thought we had a cheap stock here too but just wondered if anyone followed the apn sale of their regional papers -looks to me like News got them for a song -app $36 m which i think i read was only 2 to 3 times ebit
( there was talk of $50m and that sounded cheapish in the article i read!)

We should have got a few h.c.' ites to band together and buy it and float it off in a few years time for 4 times that!
