Seliing Covered calls after you have well legged in is good.

Ive done heaps of Covered Calls over the years.

But My Opinion these days is Mabe I should have just focused on good entry and exit levels rather than looking to buy a stock for the Call yields and the dividend and franking yields.

Im only saying this as I was caught holding stocks from higher levels and the yields havnt yet squared me out even to my initial entry prices. They should recover with some more Calls sold and dividends etc.

But After I square out of a few more I will be more careful of the entry level itself and try for a swing back of RSI and MACD etc to gain a bit and set a stop.

In the case I am negative from entry after a week I would then sell a Call to offset the pullback.

Its just the thinking level Im at with it.
