Hi CD - thanks for your input.

I have owned the stock for a while as got in at good levels earlier this year. As I am a licensed financial guy I am restricted from trading regularly. I am rolling out of full time work and giving up my restrictive license so am getting back into trading now.

As I own the stock, i sold calls. With Interactive Brokers it is entered just as a naked call option - but as my stock is on the same account it understands is a covered call. Same with short selling stocks. IB don't require you to go through the hassle of stock borrow etc. Just enter a sell and if don't have the stock it will be a short sale. You can easily see on the ticket if the stock is shortable, and how much minimum stock there is available to borrow. The IB system then arranges the borrow etc and sorts it all out automatically

A really good system for advanced traders in my opinion.

I am classified as a professional 'at home' investor, so maybe I get access to more capabilites on the system than some other retail investors?
