A TAS investment has two facets. It has EDE and EDE has Potential. On the other hand it is a spec miner. It also has a complicated organisational structure which could mean that benefits from EDE could be used to an extent to support that structure. Benefits from EDE could also end up partially used in prospective mining ventures. That may end up great or it may be a bottomless pit. I believe that TAS is priced allowing for these facts. TAS has a long history of failing to find the El Dorado. It finds enough "colour" to keep interest in the hunt. Divesting the other interests can be accomplished by investing only in EDE. Personally I invest in both and invest in TAS partly as a spec, partly because of its EDE ownership.
