Indeed, the reason of the capital raising is to quickly capture the growing demand before competition starts jumping in. The company wants to do more land-grabbing and be cashed up to capture the opportunity.
Interestingly, the Singapore opportunity is driven by the customer as opposed to by the company. The customer is willing to start off with $770k annual revenue with only 2% utilisation. When it reaches capacity, that will likely mean that SLC could get $38.5M revenue with the incremental capacity. And counting in the existing capacity that is in Singapore's network, it could get $77M when it's at full capacity! With gross profit breakeven at 1% utilisation capacity, the incremental capacity is a no-brainer project.
