Seriously, the CEO who is paid millions now say that cost savings will come from fleet rationalisation?? Where has this guy been?? Writing his bio and buying Italian suits?? Air Asia has one type A320. Air Asia X has one type A330. Virgin got 777, A330, A320, 737, E-170, E-190, ATR 72, Fokker 100, Fokker F50 !!! Each needing unique specialised maintenance and pilot type rating. Any idiot would have done this long ago. The Board then gives him another $1b! No wonder Air NZ got the hell out quick.
