They can hit a satellite 6.7 million km away.

That is a lot further than geostationary orbit a bit less than 36000km away, theoretically then they could alter the orbit of any satellite (debris) so the orbit would decay faster.
The problem is knowing what this new orbit and making sure you don't make it hit anything else. That'd be a pretty costly mistake
The email about Eos was a bit rubbish as they seem to be claiming this as a near term revenue opportunity for Eos.
Some ppl may be disappointed but its profitable and any contract wins would be bringing in significant long term revenue
