Yeah, the circled ones do appear to be buying or support, and the recent rise in price is the response.
And yes you are right, the 1629 to the upside may have been somewhat muted.
Perhaps that is a reflection of the congestion to the left which price is attempting to move past.

So yes there is some buying in the background, but we will have to wait for some more trading before we can tell much more as yet. Although the little downwave at the end (295) is complete, and suggests at that time supply wasn't too bad.
