Austin didn't drill an oil well, they discovered an oil field, and they know it. Now let's convert this all to metric. They've got about 15000 acres = 6000 hectares= 6 million square metres X a height of 240 metres is 1,440,000,000 cubic metres X a conservative 10 litres per cubic metre (which is ridiculously low, but for the sake of conservatism let's use it) = 14,440,000,000 litres = 91,000,000 bbls of oil. Now divide this even further by 2 for 45,500,000 bbls of oil (recoverable). To me this says there's ~ $2,275,000,000.00 of oil there @$50/bbl. = $2.67/share. Therefore I think it's O.K. for me to buy at 1c/share. The valuation is a tad frivolous I know , but it's interesting. Finally I hope I haven't misplaced a decimal.
