I was looking for the cost of production in $/kg LW - but it wasn't there. So I suspect that number looked really awful. So I suspect that much of your $50m may have be related to that metric.
It seems that the main theme of the financials might be that the cattle got fatter, along with the abattoir costs.
I was surprised the SP rallied so strongly - was wondering if that 50% chance of La Nina news was part of it, but didn't think rainfall was a problem for us, so maybe impacts some markets we compete with???
