Remember the NSW Govt owns all minerals & petroleum - on behalf of all 7.6 million people in NSW. Is it not curious that they abandon a large area with gas potential because of a noisy group of GreenLeft and Lock-the-Gates protesters. So the +7.5 million NSW residents who did not protest get shafted out of the economic benefits of sensible gas development - which would do zero net harm to agriculture or anything else in the region.
