Lithium and Tantalum

This will be interesting. Tantalum is worth about $US200,000/ton. For those of you who don't know much about tantalum here is a good place to look: http://www.tanb.org/index

Tantalum usually occurs in conjunction with lithium. Typical grades of mineable tantalum are 100ppm to 200ppm. Closer to 200ppm and not 5 kilometres deep and this thing could be a real winner independent of the lithium.

Have a look at Pilbara Minerals (PLS). They released a road show presentation on the 14th March 2016. They have a resource of 29.5Mt @ 1.31% Li2O and 134ppm Ta2O5. They also had a market cap of $760m, up from $300m at the time of the report. I'm not suggesting that whatever BML has to announce will be anywhere near this big (but it's nice to dream!) but it does give us a bit of a yard stick.

Fingers crossed for high grades close to surface!
