Can't wait to get my yearly look at how this mob are going given the minimal info they put out. As I've stated in previous years' posts, I still believe the big issue is the question of whether their boxed beef prices can increase in some sort of proportion to the substantial cattle price increases which have occurred over the past couple of years. This is especially pertinent given that Livingstone has to buy some external cattle to meet its output requirements. As I said last year, they were a bit unlucky because if they had just remained a pure cattle play they would have had a couple of bumper years given cattle price increases. Is the long-term vertical integration strategy going to finally work? This annual report should shed some light.
