Following on from yesterday’s target upgrade for GMM big moves in NYSE listed Lithium majors overnight.
SQM up 7.5%
FMC up 4%
SQM now capped at $6.5b. They need to diversify out of Chile for political reasons. They now have the currency and balance sheet to do that, should see some sector consolidation soon enough, GMM/GXY are in a very strong position to benefit from any action.
