There is no question why the CEO put out the announcement!! To stop the bleeding of the share price!!!

Would the CEO have put out an announcement like that if the share price had risen from 13 cents to $1.50, of course not!!

There are more than just share holders watching the price, the market offers a perception as to the health and well being of an organisation.
This is then reflected to suppliers and customers who would view HIL as a going concern.

In this instance it is good leadership to advise the market and tell the world all is as good, well at least better than expected!! For the time being anyway!!!!

Well done Mr CEO!!
