I was disappointed when DVI agreed to sell BYOjet but I think YStrategy summed things up best (post 29 Feb) ie. BYOjet wasn't performing as well as management hoped and would have required a substantial capital injection to survive.
Online travel is certainly a congested market these days. And management is best placed to assess how a business is performing, so in hindsight I think DVI did well to exit BYOjet. And we're not getting a bad price for the business.
DVI's primary focus is now on iBuyNew - as reflected by their move to acquire the rest of the company. iBuyNew is currently performing well and DVIs share price has picked up again as the market has adjusted to the new company structure.
