Huge 11,
I think there's a good story to tell here following all the reforms and the disciplined approach to moving the company forward that our Board has been working on for more than a year. Hopefully Transocean Securities Pty Ltd are out there working hard behind the scenes by telling that story to their clients i.e. the one in the PowerPoint presentations, recruiting new investors and getting the few remaining old ones enthused.
This stock has been illiquid for way too long.
IMHO this is the reason the Board, who all have skin in the game and none more so than AG, agreed to let the broker and consultant in so cheaply and in doing so decimated the value of their own holdings at the same time. Whatever else you may think these people aren't stupid and IMO they must have a reasonable basis for expecting a substantial turnaround before the strike date on the oppies. Do the math...if I read the documents correctly AG alone had 43,011,875 shares that dropped from 4.1 cents to 1.1 cents on the deal to bring in the broker and consultant. Why would you vote to write off $1.3 million in value of your own holding unless you subscribed to the chairman's view:
" The Entitlement Offer has been priced to offer excellent value to attract new capital for growth Over time we anticipate that the revitalised investor base will foster a vibrant market for our Shares. We hope that Shareholders will get on board with us in growing the inherent value that lies within NuSep and participate in this next exciting phase. "
So call me an optimist if you like because I'm hoping for some really positive ANNs over the next six months or so and maybe even a few rabbits emerging from the corporate top hats.
DYOR, GLTA
Kind regards,
[Illiquid is the state of a security or other asset that cannot easily be sold or exchanged for cash without a substantial loss in value. Illiquid assets also cannot be sold quickly because of a lack of ready and willing investors or speculators to purchase the asset].
