The share price is driven by sellers even more so than buyers. If the gap is too big, then the SP holds but volume is sacrificed until other buyers (who see the same value in the company) come along and endorse the higher held price.

For a long time now we've seen too many sellers sell down the value at around 6 cents. Once the current people on board believe that the SP is actually worth more and that the trajectory of the business is heading upwards THEN we might actually see these good announcements make a positive impact.
