Sydney - Wednesday - August 2: (RWE Australian Business News) - InterMet Resources (ASX code: ITT) today announced results from the second round of water sample and drillhole analysis had confirmed the presence of anomalous uranium within groundwater at InterMet's wholly-owned Watson tenement, on the western Gawler Craton in SA. Following previous results from the company's maiden 20-hole drilling program (comprising 1327 metres at depths ranging from 22m to 100m) revealing anomalous uranium up to 244 ug/l from water samples, a further two water samples and 44 drillhole samples (cuttings) were submitted for further analysis. Results have confirmed increasing uranium values, indicating the transportation of uranium throughout the palaeochannel (ancient river system) at depths up to 100 metres.
