Never been far away. I have been thinking about how to make money out of technological revolutions.
Developing the new technology costs real money to get to market. Of the thousands of variations on batteries/solar cells/motor cars/tv's etc only a handful earn big bucks. The rest go broke fast or slow.
Controlling a segment of the market the new technology feeds has several advantages;
-there are many potential control segments for any new technology according to country/scale/cost etc.
-controllers can switch their business to alternative technologies relatively easily (technology owners have nowhere to go)
-the intellectual property in control markets is endlessly evolving as society and technologies develop meaning that new players will have a chance of entering the market whereas when a technology is mature the number of significant manufacturers consolidates to a small number (who made the chips in your computer - Intel, AAD?)
Go Energy is a market control concept applicable across multiple battery/generator/scale/areas.
Which battery technology will become the big bucks maker in 5 years?, 20 year?, 50 years? Vanadium/lithium/sodium+sulphur/lead acid, which company in each of those.
That is why I am following Go Energy. And, for the little that it is worth, Bluenrgy which is all that is left of CBD (see CBDEF)
