If CDB gets a working plant up and running with solid data, finding finance for more units will not be an issue. Generally renewable projects like this one, you wouldn't upscale to a 20 Million Gallon plant. It would be much smarter to create modular plants to achieve this level of output. Wouldn't it be better to have 10 x 2 million gallon plants operating on different sites rather taking a risk on a big plant? Slowly slowly is the key.

Also, the other benefit of modular units is geographically locating the plants close to feedstock.
