Just hoping those well read with security analysis can advise whether i should keep the " classic 1934 edition" book on the library shelf, given i have the 6th edition. I was thinking of selling it and had a buyer but given it was republished (this classic print version) in the 2000s i didnt want to find out the hard way it would be valuable to refer back to later down the track... Or even worth a pretty penny...? I assume not given they'll probably just do another reprint of the 1934 edition some day in the future anyhow?
On a content level i hear 6th edition is the 2nd edition 1940 version which incorporares SEC etc. In the US which the 1934 edition omits. In that regards some aspects are arguably outdated?
Still some swear on 'sampling the original' for insight. Just wondering othera thoughts? After all the space it takes up i could fill with another good book or two on the shelf
Edit: ill also add that the 6th edition appears to put some chapters from 1940 on cd form only included in package. Whereas these chapters are listed as printed in the 1934 edition? Might be a worthwhile advantage of keeping it therefore, would you argue?
