but I think I understand what you are saying, and if so, yes (in big liquid markets especially) each side of the ledger try to make it as difficult as possible for the other side to operate.

I haven't taken the time to research Wyckoff in any detail. I might write a backtester on it for evaluation.
Can you recommend and short concise resources on the topic?
