it certainly does want to collect and send a lot of data to Microsoft.
Some you can switch off , but the default is on.
Im sure there is stuff you cant switch off.
As an operating system, I am happy withit.
Moved from 7, which I liked a lot.
Mrs moved from 8, which was terrible.
As for it being free, well they will save a fortune by only having to support one operating system that is always up to date. They all do it , apple, andoid. It is common sense.
As for the privacy concerns, privacy is dead if you want to be online.
