when you encounter an established trend but the counter waves are asymmetrical in amplitude it is often difficult to draw a conventional trend line. There are a couple of methods that you can employ but one slightly unorthodox technique involves two steps.
1 Draw a trend line connecting the high to low point in the price movement
2 Drag that trend line to the right of the price chart maintaining the same slope of the drawn line until the displaced trend line only touches the single most furthermost price bar to the right side.
This should provide you with a reasonably positioned supply/demand line.
