Glencore along with all these nickel producers are going to have to do something.

Unfortunately there seems to be quite a lot of nickel miners with similar mining costs so what we don't want to see happen is when np starts to rise again all these companies will be rushing in to pump as much nickel back onto the market to recoup there recent loses. Without a large enough global demand stocks will rise again and price will fall.
