    From Fairfax this morning -

    "Nickel gained 1.9 per cent to $US8940 a ton on the LME after touching the lowest in more than a decade on Tuesday. Nickel producers in China plan to gather on Friday to discuss measures to respond to the rout in prices, including possible supply cuts, according to people with knowledge of the event."
