Its either very good or very bad in my opinion. These sorts of transactions are usually pre-arranged. You call up your broker and ask if he knows of any substantial shareholders willing to sell x amount of shares for price y. The broker phones you back and the orders are executed. The little guys that have buys and sells in between get swallowed up in the process.
