Billionaire James Packer has pounced on another 3 per cent of Crown in a deal executed by UBS.
The after market trade was executed at $12 per share.
Packer is using the creep rules, which allow investors to accumulate an additional 3 per cent every 6 months, to expand his presence on the register.
This latest purchase takes Packer’s stake in Crown to 53.01 per cent.
Last month Packer, who stepped down as chairman in August, claimed the casino giant needed to lift its game.
