On a nickel thread recently an ex-driller posted how the geos and suits would know exactly when to show up in the field, for a particular hole being drilled and knowing the exact depth they were looking for.

Such precise visiting behaviour confirms that the drilling/testing/modelling routine approaches a target incrementally and strategically, until finally they have enough data to confidently call it - da Big Kahuna.

Re this latest Ann, one can be forgiven for assuming that MPJ is now very close to that final hole.
