Funnily enough, years ago I had some shares in a company that owned this island mine full of high quality ore. They were getting everything in place and the share price was steadily going up. Just when it was about to go gangbusters, it was subject to a hostile take-over by this company called Mount Gibson. I was spewing as I knew the SP would easily surpass what they were offering, but in the end they got to the 70% or so that they needed to force me to sell.
If it were to happen again... Swings and roundabouts hey.
