Giralia Resources NL (ASX code: GIR) reports reverse-circulation drilling is in progress at its wholly-owned Snake Well gold project (in the Murchison area of WA) in a program designed to test resource growth targets at the Mixy, Warren, Asp, Websters, Carlinga West, Rabbit North and Constrictor prospects.
Metallurgical testwork completed at ConSep Pty Ltd in NSW, on a bulk sample of large-diameter drill core from the high-grade Mixy lode, returned "exceptional" gravity recoverable gold (GRG) of 95.4 per cent - one of the highest results ever recorded at Consep, supplier of gravity gold recovery equipment, including the Knelson Concentrator.
The recovered gold (calculated head grade 10.3g/t Au) of the Mixy sample significantly exceeded the assayed head grade of 6.93g/t Au.
Giralia shares rose 1c to 29.5c this morning.
