Tx for bringing LER to my attention Inferno. I’m always interested interesting stories. I had a quick squiz at LER and although it’s interesting, this is why I prefer SAV/Emefcy to LER:
    • I much prefer the water “space” to the biomass “space.”
    • Although the management team at LER seems well credentialed, it can’t compare to that of SAV, IMHO. The first thing I always look at when investing is management and SAV has the perfect blend of proven entrepreneurs with a vested interest who have built billion dollar companies before and will build them again and proven technical management that has successfully built a company in the same space before and are doing it again. I don’t mean to knock LER management as I’m sure they’re very capable, but I didn’t see one who helped build a billion dollar company.
    • High capex of LER relative to SAV.
    • LER is still a long way away from where SAV is. Emefcy’s SABRE technology is ready for roll out with a production facility built and first commercial deals imminent. LER still seems to be a way off.
    • 2 year return on capex for purchasers of SABRE. That is simply outstanding.
    • EBR technology in the pipeline. If this works, SAV will be a billion dollar company just on this.
    • Endorsement by seasoned professionals. GE Ventures, Pond Ventures – and now Bori Liberman; just shut up, write a cheque, and follow the money.
    • SAV will be well capitalized; LER looks like they’ll need to raise capital soon – dilution…
Inferno, I don’t hold myself out to be an investment guru or a water or biomass expert. I have my investment criteria which I have developed over the years and have served me very well indeed. My most recent success has been EMH which I started posting about way before it was anyone else’s radar.

I look forward to reading anything that you dig up from your mate re their knowledge of the wastewater space although I’ve done my homework on Emefcy and it checks out at every level. I genuinely wish you the best of luck with LER, but SAV will be seeing my money.
