    Hi Metts,
I apologise for coming on to a stock I do not hold maybe appearing negative, but on the XRF I would like to make a few points.
A company going into a diamond core program would be expected to A, make sure these tools are calibrated and fully serviced before start of drilling. B, probably have a second XRF backup.
These tools are without peer in a core drilling (expensive) program. Or any drilling program for that matter. They can make you decide weather to push on going deeper down a hole, or pull up to save money. They will make you decide which meters to send into the Lab for assay, saving big big $.
The XRF unit itself has a built in check system that you run when you first turn it on, this takes about 2 minutes. It will then automatically run its temperature down to the required operating level, about -25c You then should test it on a standard, followed by a blank ( the standard should be based on the mineral that the XRF is calibrated for, ie, in this case Ni)
Having said all this, we know things will go wrong in the field, and break downs will happen. And it is correct not to rely on XRF to give information that might be deemed 'final'
