June 8 (Bloomberg) -- BAA Plc and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said they've ended takeover talks, leaving Grupo Ferrovial SA to complete its acquisition of the world's biggest airport operator for 10.1 billion pounds ($18.7 billion).

Goldman and its bidding partners ``will not proceed with an offer for BAA,'' the largest U.S. securities firm said in a statement today. BAA, owner of London's Heathrow airport, said the talks were over in an earlier statement today.
