Genesis Minerals (GMD) has acquired two West Australian projects since early 2014. On Monday it said it was doing resource drilling at one of those, Ulysses, and would complete a mining study by the end of the year. The stock took a hit on the news, but it seems a rethink was under way late in the week as the price recovered and volumes soared. Previous shallow drilling produced intersections up to 13m at 6 grams/tonne gold.
