firbers and polymers - well if they had announced carbon fibre we would possibly be more accepting. I have dealt with high pressure Carbon fibre with alloy powders / fibres mixed in and the results are astounding. Even with the application I was involved in withing 6 months a cheaper and far better carbon cloth and resin was available with lower costs and better in every way from storage , handling and cost to strength and durability of final product. The key with ABT is that at a certain heat you don't have issue with metal but you may with polly. So many different technology and types it is a expert field.
It is just a case to enclose the oil effectively depending on design and steel or ally premade components can be cast in at high stress points , strength needed or where where is probable.
ABV would do well top chat with Quickstep and a few others to see just what technology they should be looking at and what production process for what number of finished goods will be both flexible and also economic.
The technology and manufacturng equipment is jumping leaps and bounds and good on em for looking forward as they had to get cost of product down for above ground.
