I acknowledge that some 'investors' have suffered losses in CDB, but then
again, a number of proficient traders in CDB would also have done very well.

It all comes down to trading strategies i.e. stop loss orders et cetera to minimise
    any such negative blow-backs.

Over the decades I have lost (and sometimes made) a fortune at the lower end
    of the market.

Several companies that I 'invested' in literally disappeared off the boards - as a result
of ASX please explains suspensions and de-listings - and for multiple reasons. You
don't know what really bad management is until you've gone through that wringer a
    few times.

Not a good feeling - but you pick yourself up - try to learn from the lesson/s - then
move on - and hopefully improve your trading techniques as a result. But I don't
spend an eternity whinging about it - life is too short for that - dust yourself off
and trade your way out of it. If you can't do that then you shouldn't be in the market
    period.

Nobody should have lost so much on CDB (or any other stock) that it virtually
cripples them. You spread your risks. For example, put your available kitty into
five stocks - not one or two!

Its tempting to 'invest' with borrowed funds - but get it badly wrong - and you will
    probably be wiped-out.

    As always.....DYOR......cheers
