Also - MacFarlane was a Chandler appointment. I'm not sure on Dewer but given the two were appointed within two days of each other in 2013 I'd say they were both Chandler appointments. Chandler is a weird dude. He might of axed them himself. Or he was irrational with Elliot and those two were going to be kicked off by Elliot as punishment... So they jumped first to save face.
