Of particular note, I know that some researchers/developers (in the U.S) have been looking into the potential use of graphene in anti-ballistic protection for law enforcement and the military. Will be interesting to see if it eventuates into a commercially viable prototype. A potential huge market for that type of technology, if they can get it up and running.
